Your Privacy is Important to Us.

Centium, Inc., publisher of U.S. Business Reporter and affiliate publications guarantees the privacy of personal information from all visitors. You should fully understand the information we collect and gather to make better information available to our advertisers. This policy statement outlines information on how we gather, collect , and process information, In addition, this information discloses information on how you can correct or change any misinformation.

1. Information Gathering Process

Centium, Inc. gathers information about users through e-mail and voluntary registration , if applicable. The company also gathers information from web site tracking software programs. The latter data does not identify specific users but does offer information from a specific geographic area, type of browser program, and time of day during the access of our web site. This type of information assists our advertising personnel in developing more targeted advertising for specific groups of users based on geographical, time, equipment, and url designation. Centium, Inc. divulges information about an individual user to a third party only when a user enters a contest or sweepstakes-- and only then under the users express consent.

Centium may gather information in the following proceses:

Registration:
During subscription or registration of entering a web site, the user is required to supply a username, password, and e-mail address. However, we do not sell e-mail addresses to any third party.

General Inquiries:

Centium may store customer questions and inquiries through electronic mail. This information is used exclusively for internal company purposes ONLY. This information may be used for investigative purposes to outside official agencies.

Electronic Newsletters:
Centium may gather information about a user through an online newsletter. The user supplies their name, e-mail address, and password. Centium does not sell this information to any third party web sites unless we have authorization from the user. A user can unsubscribe to any newsletter that Centium publishes by sending e-mail to: http://www.usbrn.com/ccmail.htm and supplying your username.

Usage Tracking:
Centium tracks user traffic patterns throughout our web site. However, we cannot correlate this information with data about an individual user. Centium does not break down overall usage statistics according to a user's domain name, browser type, and MIME type by reading this information from the browser string.

Cookies:
A cookie is a small data file that certain Web sites write to your hard disk when you visit them. A cookie file can contain information such as a user ID that a site uses to track the pages you have visited. However, the only personal information a cookie can contain is the information you supply yourself. A cookie cannot read data off you hard disk drive or read cookie files created by other sites. Centium may use cookies to track user traffic patterns (as described above).

You can refuse cookies by turning them off in your browser. However, you may not be able to use many or all features of the web site.



2. Use of Information


Centium uses any information voluntarily given by our visitors to enhance their experience with our network sites, whether to provide interactive or personalized elements on the sites or to better prepare future content based on the interests of our users.

Centium uses tracking information to determine which areas of our site users enjoy and like based on traffic patterns. Centium does not track what individual users read , but rather how well each page performs overall. This helps Centium to develop a better and more useful Web site for all visitors.

Centium DOES NOT track search terms entered in "Search" or "Go" as a measure of what interests users. Further, we do not track which terms a particular user enters.



3. Opt-out Policy
